My last newborn of 2017! I wrapped up the year with this sweet little girl named Charlie (don't you just love that name for a girl!). She was absolute perfection. She slept almost her whole session, just so peaceful and calm. But she opened her eyes just long enough to let me capture her gorgeous peepers! We styled her session in soft neutrals and pinks, my favorite to highlight all that newborn freshness.

Ember ~ 8 days {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

Some of you may not know this but before I was head #momboss at Jessica Fenfert Photography, I was a labor and delivery nurse. Actually, I'm still a labor and delivery nurse because well, I love newborns, I love birth and I love seeing families made. It's why I love photographing newborns so much. And I think it also makes me a more confident and safe newborn photographer. 

At any rate, my nursing job has afforded me the pleasure of making some wonderful friends over the years, even as we've moved on to other things. Ember's mama is one of those friends. She is the type of person that just exudes light. She is always happy, always kind and always goofy. She is someone you just know is going to be an amazing parent. So when she entrusted me to capture some of her first moments as a parent, of course I was instantly...YES!

Mom and Dad decided to remain Team Green until Baby Ember arrived. Only then did they find out she was a perfect, healthy baby GIRL! When they arrived at the studio the morning of our session all I saw was her thick, dark, curly hair. A bitty bundle of gorgeousness! Ember was a dream baby for her session and I am so honored to be able to give them memories to last a lifetime.

Cole ~ 10 days {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

October was a month of (almost) all boys. And they were definitely some of the cutest! Cole was the smiliest (if that is even a word!) little man. I am pretty sure we got a smile in just about every set up. It doesn't matter how many newborns I photographer, I still get all giddy when they start flashing the grins. They're so fresh and new that I wonder, what must you be dreaming about??

Avery Claire {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

Sweet baby Avery with all that hair! Avery's momma is a dear friend of mine who works with me as a labor and delivery nurse so of course, when her new little princess came along we were going to pull out all the stops! It feels like we just did her maternity session yesterday! (Remember her the beach session ?) Avery was soooo good during our photoshoot. She is literally just perfect. We even went outside for a gorgeous garden shot. Congratulations my friend! Can't wait to see her grow up.

Lexi ~ 11 days old {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

There is something so magical about watching first time parents. It's a beautiful mix of awe, excitement, novelty and pure enchantment. There are no distractions, all eyes are on this precious baby as they slide into parenthood. This love was palpable during my session with Lexi. Mom and Dad were so clearly enamored with her, I just loved enjoying every moment with them. They are also just the sweetest people on earth and we chatted the whole way through the session like old friends.
