Some of you may not know this but before I was head #momboss at Jessica Fenfert Photography, I was a labor and delivery nurse. Actually, I'm still a labor and delivery nurse because well, I love newborns, I love birth and I love seeing families made. It's why I love photographing newborns so much. And I think it also makes me a more confident and safe newborn photographer.
At any rate, my nursing job has afforded me the pleasure of making some wonderful friends over the years, even as we've moved on to other things. Ember's mama is one of those friends. She is the type of person that just exudes light. She is always happy, always kind and always goofy. She is someone you just know is going to be an amazing parent. So when she entrusted me to capture some of her first moments as a parent, of course I was instantly...YES!
Mom and Dad decided to remain Team Green until Baby Ember arrived. Only then did they find out she was a perfect, healthy baby GIRL! When they arrived at the studio the morning of our session all I saw was her thick, dark, curly hair. A bitty bundle of gorgeousness! Ember was a dream baby for her session and I am so honored to be able to give them memories to last a lifetime.
