Austin ~ 8 days {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

I met Austin's family at my fall mini sessions when he was just a tiny belly baby. These guys are fun, laid back and just super easy to talk to so I couldn't wait to meet their newest addition. Austin preferred to be awake for most of his session, but that's ok because he has the most gorgeous eyes! And once he decided to take a short nap, he totally rocked the sleepy poses. 

Big Sister M, the spunky little thing she is, took some convincing to play along with little brother's shoot. Mom told me ahead of time that she was a bit unsure of her new house guest. Luckily I always have a few tricks up my sleeve. ;) She's so bright and playful, it was easy to turn it in to a big game. 

I can't wait to see this sweet family grow!

Ember ~ 8 days {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

Some of you may not know this but before I was head #momboss at Jessica Fenfert Photography, I was a labor and delivery nurse. Actually, I'm still a labor and delivery nurse because well, I love newborns, I love birth and I love seeing families made. It's why I love photographing newborns so much. And I think it also makes me a more confident and safe newborn photographer. 

At any rate, my nursing job has afforded me the pleasure of making some wonderful friends over the years, even as we've moved on to other things. Ember's mama is one of those friends. She is the type of person that just exudes light. She is always happy, always kind and always goofy. She is someone you just know is going to be an amazing parent. So when she entrusted me to capture some of her first moments as a parent, of course I was instantly...YES!

Mom and Dad decided to remain Team Green until Baby Ember arrived. Only then did they find out she was a perfect, healthy baby GIRL! When they arrived at the studio the morning of our session all I saw was her thick, dark, curly hair. A bitty bundle of gorgeousness! Ember was a dream baby for her session and I am so honored to be able to give them memories to last a lifetime.

Faith is ONE ~ Cake Smash {Baltimore Maryland Baby Photographer}

What a difference a year makes! It's seems so crazy that the last time I saw Faith she was just tiny little nugget. She arrived over 6 weeks early and was just over 6lbs at the time of our session when she was 3.5 weeks old. Now look at her, chubby thighs and rolls for days! The whole family, including big sis joined and cheered her on while she dug in to her cake.

Scarlett - {Baltimore Maryland Newborn Photographer}

I think Scarlett was one of the most beautiful babies I've photographed (but then again I say that about all the babies, don't I?). She had a perfect head of gorgeous dark hair and clear bright eyes. And two gorgeous, sweet and totally in love parents. She wasn't the sleepiest little girl ever but hello smiling and alert?! Who could ask for anything more?

Tree Farm Mini Sessions {Baltimore Maryland Family Photographer}

Christmas may be over and a new year here but I still have so much to share from our Tree Farm Mini Sessions this year at beautiful Gaver Farm. I saw a lot of familiar faces, it's so amazing to see how much these kiddos grow. And I met a lot of awesome new families as well. It was unseasonably warm (and beautiful) for most of the day. Although we did battle a somewhat crazy windstorm toward the end but luckily got out right before the rain came! Mini Sessions can be a great quick way to update family photos seasonally and I am already looking forward to my Spring Minis!
